Twister Auctioneer, by Paul Laufer - Telesage Solutions

This program allows you to play the floor game "Twister(R)" by the Milton Bradley Company, and have your computer do the "calling", which will free up one person who traditionally had to sit and spin the spinner and call out the hand and foot positions.

There is no installer for this program.  Simply unzip the archive contents into a folder of your choosing, and then run TA.EXE.

For information regarding Twister(R) the game, please contact:

Milton Bradley Company
P.O. Box 1247
East Longmeadow, MA. 01208

That is the address located in the Twister(R) documentation.  Note that I have no affiliation with the Milton Bradley Company, and have never had any contact with them in any way, other than having played countless games created by them over the many years since my birth.

Thank you Milton Bradley for providing all of us with so much fun!

This program is free to all.  I offer no support, and ask no quarter.  Twister Auctioneer is not warranted in any way.  It works just fine here on Windows 98, Windows NT/4, Windows XP Professional and Windows 7.  If it doesn't work on your computer then please forgive me for wasting your time.  It was written in Delphi 4.0.

My daughter and her friends were the inspiration for writing this, and so if you'd like to make some donation, please do it for a cause that benefits children.  Have fun!!!

Directions for using Twister Auctioneer:

Press on the "Start Twisting" button to begin the game.  Adjust your computer sound volume to the proper level.  Adjust the "Seconds" to make the game faster or slower.

The minimum value is 3 seconds because that's about how long it takes for each call.

Press the "Stop Twisting" button to pause the game.

Press any one of the specific buttons in the color areas to read that particular position.

Press the "Exit Program" button to end the game.

Each color combination is a separate audio file with a .WAV extension.  If you're tired of hearing my voice, you can customize your "Twister Auctioneer" by creating your own .WAV files and placing them in the Twister Auctioneer folder.  The file naming convention is XYZ.WAV, where (X)=L/R for left/right, and (Y)=H/F for hand/foot, and (Z)=R/B/Y/G for red/blue/yellow/green.  There are 16 .WAV files in all.  These .WAV files must exist in the same folder as the Twister Auctioneer program (TA.EXE) file.  If a .WAV file is missing you will get an error when the program tries to play that file.
